CA2 Brakes
Stromag’s CA2 series brakes are spring applied and electromagnetically released, providing failsafe braking. Lining wear is automatically compensated for, and brake pads feature a wear indicator.
Torque range: 490 to 8,600 lb-ft (665 to 11,660 Nm)
Typical applications: Overhead cranes, steel mills
EBN Brakes
Pintsch Bubenzer EBN series drum thruster brakes operate according to the DIN 15435 standard. Bushings are self-lubricating and do not require greasing. A range of thrusters are available to suit your application.
Torque range: 221 to 5,103 lb-ft (300 to 6,920 Nm)
Typical applications: Overhead cranes, mining, steel mills
SFB Brakes
The Pintsch Bubenzer SFB series brake is a spring applied safety brake which is electromechanically released. They feature IP67 rated protection and high wear resistance. A variety of special options are available to best serve your specific application.
Torque range: 33 to 1,843 lb-ft (45 to 2,500 Nm)
Typical applications: Gantry cranes, winches and deck machinery, steel mills
SMLB Thruster Brakes
Johnson SMLB thruster brakes are constructed of fabricated steel with high temperature, non-asbestos friction linings. A variety of special options are available, such as mechanical release levers, high temperature assemblies, and explosion-proof designs.
Torque range: 58 to 8,475 lb-ft (78 to 11,490 Nm)
